On Thursday, May 18th 2023, Designer Taiju Yamashita made his first appearance as a lecturer at “ICS Special Lecture 2023” for students of ICS College of Arts – a vocational school for interior, architecture and furniture design. In line with the theme “The potential of design sought after in these changing times,” Yamashita spoke to around 180 students about the role of a designer using case studies. The Q&A session included questions from students on study and input methods to draw out ideas, etc., and ultimately it was a meaningful session for students to further explore their thoughts as designers.
