For the client’s goal to attract new customers in this busy and competitive area, we tried to create a friendly surrounding to have a fun time with colleges and friends as a third-place separate from home or the workplace.

There are three points of design. The first one is to narrow the distance of the seats, aiming at creating a cozy atmosphere and encourage conversation. The second thing is to arrange the furniture at random as if some were added later. We chose the different shape of furniture on purpose to promote homy atmosphere, but each piece is unified in space when it comes together.

The last is to create a design gap between facade and interior. The appearance is a standard bar, however, the interior provides a sense of warm and friendly atmosphere and time separate from the busy daily life as soon as you enter.
