In charge of the design element of this project, DRAFT maximized the wide floor area and incorporated various materials to create a stylish and crisp space.
The main aim of the office is to offer visitors a “surprise” the instant they set foot through the door. There is no need for a conspicuous symbol. The various details that visitors behold in that first moment upon arrival aim to express the strength of the space and offer a surprise that stirs emotions. The appearance of the office comprises a diversity of elements deliberately avoiding uniformity, such as the green foliage at the entrance, contrasting floor tiles in each section, rustic wall tiles, pendant lights with a traditional Japanese feel, solid wood tables, glass, mirrors, and so on.

The glass corridor that stretches from the entrance to the back of the office while dynamically dividing the floor serves the dual purpose of linking the front and back areas and offers a sense of spaciousness. Indirect lighting and downlights are used to create a sense of depth with shadow. The giant green wall measuring 15 meters in length incorporates a biophilic design by using moss and vines on a rock base to emphasize a connection with abundant nature. Using the underlying calming tones alluding to Leverages’ corporate colors of deep blue and green, DRAFT created a space where one can sense the determination of Leverages to contribute to the emotions of the world.
