UX Square Tokyo is the new office of beBit, a firm that handles integrated UX design. Positioning the office as an interface between the company and the customer, between online and offline, we have incorporated UX (user experience) design into the design of the space itself.

The seminar hall had clipping ceiling in one side, but to create a symmetrical composition that would leave a powerful impression, we added clipped ceiling on the other side as well. Also, we placed private rooms on either side of the seminar hall to facilitate moving from large presentation to private meetings.
Another feature is the reception lobby. With books selected by a book director and a counter equipped with power outlets, this lobby enables relaxation in spare moments between events and meetings. We had to remain the earthquake-resistant brace for the structural reason, we removed the existing ceiling and converted the braces as just another part of the interior.
In the work area, we were conscious of creating an environment that would help employees make the most of their skills. By providing a variety of workspaces, such as concentration booths, standing desks, and seating on a rooftop terrace, employees can choose the work environment that suits them best.
